You sure caught the character of the Great Dane in all your sculptures! They gave me a few giggles because I remember my Danes making the same moves, including the Deer Fly! lol I was browsing to find a statue of a Dane because I have bronzes of my other breeds, Shelties and Chinese Cresteds which I do rescue for. So retired and rescue = Not enough to buy one, but it sure was fun to look!

Hi Louise, I don't know if you remember me but our 2 Westies, Miles and Maizy, were the "inspiration" for Westitude. We were devastated in 2014 when we lost them both. We lost Maizy in May from cancer and Miles in December to heart problems. I believe he was heartbroken without his sister. Our hearts and home will never be the same without them. I still hope to some day have your beautiful bronze in our home. You captured both of them so perfectly in Westitude. Thank you.

I found your website late one night and was reduced to tears by the amount of feeling that your sculptures contain. I recently moved away from home for the first time and had to leave my two great danes (one of whom will be put down soon due to old age) with my parents. It's been rough to live without a dog since I've never done so and every once in a while I need a reminder about what it's like to have a dane as a best friend. Your sculptures did that for me, so thank you.
